Johnson City faces more rain after flood watch, advisory

The Tri-Cities region is facing more rain showers after Wednesday's flood watch and advisory, according to the National Weather Service in Morristown. The National Weather Service attributed some thunderstorms to extreme heat, a cold front sinking toward the southern Appalachians and Tropical Storm Bertha, which is continuing to develop in the Gulf Coast. Tropical Storm Bertha is expected to generate isolated flash flooding, tropical storm conditions and coastal flooding along the Gulf Coast through Friday.
