Kimberly Harr, a Tri-Cities native, is the education reporter for the Johnson City Press, reporting on Washington County Schools, Johnson City Schools, state education and local colleges and universities. Harr is an award-winning journalist with a bachelor's degree from Liberty University in English and journalism. Prior to her position at the Johnson City Press, she was the associate editor for The Erwin Record in Erwin, Tennessee as well as the associate editor for the Herald & Tribune in Jonesborough, Tennessee. Harr is known for her coverage of Hurricane Helene and other local stories.
