Emma Caskill is the County Reporter at the Johnson City Press. Within her role, she covers the Washington County government and other general assignments within the Washington County limits. Aside from her county coverage, Caskill has a community focus role aiming to highlight people and organizations working to make their communities thrive. Caskill obtained her bachelor's degree in communications with a focus in journalism and electronic media at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. At UT she held the position as Arts and Cultures Editor at The Daily Beacon, the university's editorially independent newspaper. Caskill takes pride in her journalistic ethics by keeping her work unbiased and truthful.
