The 3rd Annual Trauma Conference, sponsored by Johnson City Medical Center, is set for Sept. 19 from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Millennium Centre.
Registration deadline is Friday. No refunds will be issued; substitutions may be allowed.
This conference is designed for firefighters, nurses, paramedics, EMTs, physicians and other health care professionals throughout the region to expand their knowledge of trauma care and prevention of traumatic injuries. A variety of physicians, nurses, paramedics and other experts will present the topics. Speakers include Dr. Patrick Bosarge, trauma surgeon; Dr. Robert Harris, orthopedic surgeon; and Will Chapleau, manager of the Advanced Trauma Life Support program for the American College of Surgeons.
The following are the registration fees: fire/EMS/students/residents, $50; Mountain States Health Alliance team member/network hospital, $75; outside MSHA/outside network hospital, $125; physician/PA/NP, $100; and a group of five or more receives a $5 discount.
