CHATTANOOGA (AP) — A Hamilton County jailer and her two daughters are facing assault charges.
According to Chattanooga police, it started on Thursday when Christy Fitch called police on Marcus Jones for picking up their child from daycare. Jones is the father but does not have custody.
Jones is the son of jailer Arnetta Jones-Eady. When Jones-Eady found out that Fitch had reported her son to police, she and her daughters went to Fitch's house.
Police say the 51-year-old Jones-Eady held Fitch down while daughters, 30-year-old Lanetta Hudson and 27-year-old LeAnn Jones, beat her.
The three were later arrested and released the same day on bond. The jail has no record of an attorney for them.
The custodial interference case against Marcus Jones is still being investigated.
The child was returned to Fitch.
