A Piney Flats woman was arrested Tuesday following a domestic disturbance call in which a male victim told police he had been choked by his girlfriend during an argument, according to a police news release.
According to the release, officers talked to the victim at 506 Swadley Road, Apt. 1, where he alleged Casey E. Booher, 30, 692 Austin Springs Road, scratched his neck, face and head, as well as choked him during an argument.
Booher was charged with aggravated domestic assault and was taken into custody.
Police said Booher was also charged with resisting arrest after she actively resisted officers and removed her handcuffs.
She was taken to the Washington County Detention Center and was being held on $2,500 bond, pending a court appearance in Sessions Court next Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.
