Johnson City's new $15 million recreational facility, named the Memorial Park Community Center, will open to the public Dec. 8. Area media got access to the facility Tuesday morning.
The gigantic 67,000-square-foot building will offer activities for all ages, including swimming, workouts, classes and games.
The new center's hours of operations will be Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. It will be closed on Sunday.
Monthly passes range from $35 for resident students and seniors to $60 for a non-resident family pass.
A daily rate of $2 will be offered. A monthly pass to the fitness room for students and those over 50 is $10.
