KINGSPORT — Kingsport police have arrested a man who allegedly pointed a gun inside a car occupied by three adults — and a baby — outside a gas station at 2:50 a.m.., making away with a Rolex watch, necklace, cell phone and $9 in cash.
An affidavit filed in Kingsport court says two of the victims identified the suspect by name, but doesn't specify their relationship.
Matthew Phillips, 22, of 131 Lake Road, Johnson City, is charged with aggravated robbery, attempted aggravated robbery and two counts of felony reckless endangerment. The incident occurred Thursday morning at 120 West Stone Drive, a Shell Station.
