Violent media

Published January 24, 2013

After these school shootings why doesn’t someone talk about when the kids are first born, how they are placed in front of a TV and from birth they see shooting and fighting on TV. Some of the cartoons have plots and language that even adults do not need to see or hear.

Then there are the video games. Some kids play video games many hours a day. In most of these games, all hell breaks loose. How much of the TV and video games becomes real to the kids, and how much only a game?

Maybe we need TV and video control. Where are the supporters? Maybe the TV and video control needs to come before gun control.

Our youth have been desensitized to violence. The elites in Hollywood won't ever admit that fact though.
