I’m so proud to have been a Science Hill High School football fan this year. I’m the mom of a senior player and have worked as a volunteer with the team on various things this season and in the past, so I’ve gotten to know the coaches and players better.

I have been so impressed with our coaches who not only coach the game, but who are also good role models. They truly care about the boys on and off the field. And, for our players, they gave us the best season we have had in over 20 years.

I know they dreamed and hoped for a different ending, but I truly believe these seniors will succeed in life with all they learned and fought for this year. I know without a doubt that they will be leaving future teams with a legacy on which to build and learn.

You seniors are a special bunch and will be greatly missed by your coaches, fans and of course your parents. I will still continue to support and come to the games. As I said, these are great coaches and players who I want to continue to watch and cheer on. I am so proud to be a Topper football fan. Go Toppers!
