Bad apples

Published December 13, 2012

No, Scott DesJarlais should not resign for Congress for the following reasons. He fits right in with the American system. We have got to the point now where the CIA director resigns because of affairs and police chiefs are indicted for violation of gun laws and selling drugs.

We’ve seen judges indicted for corruption and stealing and district attorneys found guilty of exchanging sex for a better deal in court. There are judges on drugs and their convictions thrown out, such as the case in Knoxville, where criminals are being retried for murder and rape at an extra cost to the taxpayers.

We had just as well leave DesJarlais in Congress until the American people are fed up with this corruption and decide to clean house. The way you clean house is to get out and vote and put them out of office.

These are the people who Americans used to look up to administer the laws of the land and look out for the well being of the American people. There are still some good people in office, but bad apples spoil the barrel.

When Jesus comes back, and he will, he will clean this mess up. Too much graft and corruption and the good ol’ boy system still runs the country.
