The board of the Unicoi County Community Hospital is making a mistake by not listening to the people of the community. They should have a say or choice where they want to go for medical care.

People in Johnson County, Carter County and Washington County don’t have a choice since Mountain States Health Alliance is so greedy and owns all the hospitals. They send out letters thanking you for choosing Mountain States when you don’t even have a choice.

You go to the ER and sit for seven hours and still don’t even see a doctor even though the heart doctor sent you there. It’s a shame the Unicoi County hospital board doesn’t care for the people there. After all, it’s their money and board members need to listen to them.
