Guizhi Mu, 80, 219 Willows Ridge Ct., died Saturday, March 16, 2013, at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Ms. Mu was a native of Shenyang, Liaoning, China, and had lived in Johnson City since 1993. She was a daughter of the late Yongman Mu and Shuqing Yu.

Ms. Mu retired as a high school teacher of Chinese from number 10 High School, Changchun, China.

Survivors include two sons, Ge Wu of Johnson City and Yue Wu of Cary, NC; one granddaughter, Fangbai, Wu, Cleveland, OH; one grandson, Shang Wu, China.

Private service will be held Monday, March 18, 2013. Appalachian Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 800 E. Watauga Ave., is serving the Wu family. (423) 928-6111
