
Mrs. Doris Snyder Harding, age 95, of Johnson City, passed away January 17, 2013, in the Appalachian Christian Village.
Mrs. Harding was a native of Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late D.R. Snyder and Stacy Holloway Snyder.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Samuel Young Harding, Jr. also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Harding was a member of the Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three children, Toni DeBord, of Knoxville, Bette Burruss, of Punta Gorda, Florida, and Samuel Y. Harding, of Knoxville; one niece, Janice Crowe, of Knoxville; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
The funeral service for Mrs. Doris Snyder Harding will be conducted at 2 PM Sunday, January 20, 2013, in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Michael Lester will officiate.
The graveside committal service will follow in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons, Tom Burruss, Todd DeBord, Christopher DeBord, Rex DeBord III, Patrick DeBord and Samuel Y. Harding IV.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Saturday, January 19, 2013, at Morris-Baker.
