Six charged in Johnson Co. meth investigation

MOUNTAIN CITY — Six people were arrested last week after a Johnson County Sheriff's Office and Drug Enforcement Administration investigation into a meth-making operation, Sheriff Mike Reece announced today in a news release.

Charles Parlier, 55, and his wife, Willa Dean Parlier, 53, both of Pleasant Valley Road; Jeremy Greene, 32, Laurel Bloomery; Chasiti Ward, 30, Laurel Bloomery; Coty Pennington, 23, Mountain City; and Holly Rhymer, no address listed, were arrested Feb. 27.

Reece said the arrests came after a long-standing investigation into meth manufacturing.
