Officers from multiple agencies have converged on a Kingsport home after a 20-year-old man allegedly threatened to kill his mother and sisters — holding an explosive device while doing so — and then fled the scene.

Police report the suspect was apprehended a short time later during a traffic stop, while a bomb squad has since located at least three explosive devices at the residence of his family.
