Two killed today in Morristown crash

MORRISTOWN — Morristown police this morning are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that killed two people.

Three vehicles were involved in the 7:24 a.m. crash, according to the Hamblen County E-911 Center.

The crash was reported on West Andrew Johnson Highway near the intersection with West Economy Road, a dispatcher said.

Morristown Police Department Maj. Michelle Jones said the men driving two vehicles — one 26 and the other 73 — died in the crash. The driver of the third vehicle, a 16-year-old boy, was injured.
