City man charged with burglary, theft

A Johnson City man was arrested Thursday following an investigation into recent burglaries that occurred at a city residence, according to a police news release.

According to the release, Joshua Ray Wayne Fair, 25, was charged with two counts of aggravated burglary and two counts of theft of property under $500 after he allegedly robbed a residence at 626 E. Maple St. on Jan. 21 and 25.

Fair was taken to the Washington County Detention Center and was being held on $22,000 bond.

He was scheduled to appear in Sessions Court on Friday at 10:30 a.m.
