Johnson City police chased down a man suspected of selling crack cocaine at a housing complex on Tuesday, resulting in his arrest.

Ian Matthew Cole, no age or address listed, was arrested about 7:20 p.m. in the Clark Manor/Harrison Village area off West Market Street and charged with manufacture/delivery/resale of schedule two drugs and resisting arrest.

Police were tipped about possible drug activity at 305 Royal Circle and contacted Cole, who ran from officers before he was caught in a short foot chase, according to a news release.

Cole was held in the Washington County Detention Center on $11,000 bond pending a Sessions Court appearance Thursday.
