A Johnson City man was arrested Monday after officers received a call about a domestic disturbance, according to a police press release.

According to the release, officers responded to 1211 Division St. and came into contact with Daryl Fletcher, 46, 104 W. Unaka Ave., No. 1.

Officers saw blood on Fletcher’s face and clothing and a search of his person revealed 18 grams of a substance believed to be marijuana in several bags and one hand-rolled cigarette containing what officers believed to be marijuana.

Fletcher was charged with possession of schedule VI drugs with intent to distribute and was taken to the Washington County Detention Center.

He was being held on $10,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in Sessions Court Tuesday at 9 a.m.

The domestic disturbance call allegedly involving Fletcher is still under investigation, according to the release.
