A Johnson City man was arrested Wednesday after city police responded to a report of a disturbance.

According to a Johnson City Police Department news release, Michael R. Foster, 60, 207 E. Poplar St. was charged with domestic aggravated assault after officers responded to the call at his residence.

Foster was being held at the Washington County Detention Center on $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Sessions Court today at 9 a.m.
