A false report of a stolen vehicle resulted in charges for a Johnson City woman.
According to a Johnson City police news release, Ashley E. Browder, 28, 51 Charleston Square, reported her vehicle stolen Saturday.
Police investigated and said the vehicle had been involved in a crash but was not stolen.
Browder was being held on $5,000 bond in the Washington County Detention Center.
Her hearing was scheduled for Monday in Sessions Court.
