A Chuckey woman is facing charges after using gift cards that weren’t hers, police said in a news release.

On Saturday, officers from the Johnson City Police Department arrested Nicole Black, 35, 150 Fish Pond Road, Chuckey, and charged her with illegal possession and fraudulent use of a credit/debit card.

The charges were placed after officers responded to Best Buy, 3222 Peoples St., where Black had reportedly made several purchases with gift cards that didn’t belong to her.

Black was taken to the Washington County Detention Center, where she was held on $10,000 bond.
