Karyn Alys McElroy and Jesse Gordon Garland II were married Saturday, May 26, 2012, at The Price Barn, Jonesborough.

The Rev. Lauri Jo Cranford officiated the 5:30 p.m. exchange of vows. Music was provided by Ashlee Jenks, violinist.

The bride is a daughter of Dr. Aubrey McElroy Jr. and Mr. Janey McElroy, 304 Fleetwood Court, Johnson City.

She is a granddaughter of the late Hurshel and Tinnie Bryant; and Aubrey and Barbara McElroy, Longview, Texas.

The groom is a son of Mr. William Spooner and Mrs. Sherry Garland-Spooner; and the late David Garland III.

He is a grandson of Jane Garland, Johnson City, and the late David Garland II; and the late Beulah Love.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless Princess Line gown featuring beaded Schiffli lace on net over satin and a skirt that extended into a semi-cathedral train.

Matron of honor was Amber Keller, sister of the bride.

Maid of honor was Abby McElroy, sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Beth Lane and Shelley Clark.

Flower girl was Lilly McElroy, niece of the bride.

Ring bearers were David Keller, nephew of the bride; and Brian Sullivan, cousin of the groom.

Adam Gorsuch served as best man.

Groomsmen were Sean Smithgall, Michael Garland and Todd Wilcox.

Ushers were Adam and Andrew McElroy.

A.D. McElroy escorted the bride’s mother.

Guestbook attendant was Darby St. Onge.

Following a reception at the Garland Farm Estates Club House, the couple took a wedding trip to Playa Mujeres, Mexico.
