The bride is a daughter of Rochelle and Mickey Darnell of Elizabethton, and Mark Markland of Elizabethton.
She is a granddaughter of the late George “Ed” and Wanda Markland; Ernie and Georgia Rosenbaum of Elizabethton; and Joe Hicks of Johnson City.
The groom is a son of Steve and Judy Howell of Johnson City.
He is a grandson of the late Cliner and Martha Jackson; and the late Bob and Mary Ellen Howell.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory Casablanca gown featuring beaded lace over a slim A-line silhouette of silky satin, an inverted waistline, a V-neckline in the back decorated with buttons, and a skirt that extended into a semi-cathedral train.
Maid of honor was Heather Darnell.
Bridesmaids were Rebekah Cunningham, Nikki Roberts and Ashton Belcher.
Junior bridesmaid was Taylor Howell.
Flower girl was Zoe Sanders. Ring bearer was Mason Hicks.
Jody Rodefer served as best man.
Groomsmen were James Britt, Bradley Roberts and Brandon Belcher.
Junior groomsman was Peyton Cunningham.
Following a reception at The Charles, the couple took a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
