Nicely named CEO for county MSHA hospitals

David Nicely has been named vice president and CEO for the Washington County hospitals of Mountain States Health Alliance.

Nicely joined MSHA in 2008 as CEO of North Side Hospital and Johnson City Specialty Hospital. When Franklin Woods Community Hospital opened in 2010, Nicely oversaw the transition of services from North Side and Specialty to FWCH. He is now responsible for Johnson City Medical Center and FWCH.

Nicely earned his bachelor of science degree in medical technology from the University of Tennessee, Memphis, and a master of science in health care administration from the University of St. Francis. Nicely has 21 years of health care-related experience, including 11 years with HCA in various administrative roles prior to joining MSHA.
